APC Resumes Electronic Membership Registration Nationwide

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the resumption of its electronic membership registration exercise across the country as part of efforts to strengthen its internal structures and enhance data management.

In a statement issued in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the exercise would take place in all wards and designated registration centres nationwide.

The party called on existing members to validate their membership details, while urging new entrants to take advantage of the opportunity to register and join what it described as the “progressive family.”

According to the statement, eligibility for registration requires individuals to be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

The APC explained that the electronic registration initiative is aimed at digitising its membership database, ensuring the integrity of records, and enabling efficient access to data for planning and decision-making purposes. It added that the move would also promote internal democracy within the party and reinforce its commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.

The development marks a continuation of the party’s efforts to modernise its operations and expand its membership base ahead of future political activities.
