APC Addresses David Mark’s Allegations Over ADC Leadership Crisis


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to allegations raised by David Mark, as top party officials on Friday hold a press briefing at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

The ongoing press briefly was disclosed on the official social media handle of the APC.

The APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, alongside the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, are cureenlty addressing a press conference following earlier comments by Mark concerning the leadership dispute within the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The briefing focused on Mark’s claims regarding the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to recognise a purported factional caretaker leadership of the ADC.

APC officials maintained that INEC’s position aligns with the judgment of the Court of Appeal, which they say remains binding on all parties involved in the dispute.

“The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru, and the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, are currently addressing a press conference at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja following Thursday’s briefing by Senator David Mark.

“The press conference is focused on Senator David Mark’s allegations arising from the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (@inecnigeria) not to recognise the purported and factional caretaker leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in light of the Court of Appeal judgment,” the post read.

Further details from the press conference are expected as deliberations continue.
