AJE Group Launches New Production Line to Meet Demand

AJE Group, producers of BIG Cola and Cifrút, has commissioned a new beverage production line to boost capacity and meet increasing consumer demand across various pack sizes.

According to a statement, the firm’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Hernan Córdova, commissioned the new line during a ceremony held over the weekend. He described the development as a “new turn of events and a significant aspect of AJE 2.0, poised to drive great productivity, marketing, sales and consumer satisfaction.”

Present at the event were the company’s Commercial Director, Dennis Cunliffe; Chief Financial Officer, Anibal Torres; Supply Chain Manager, Raul Inga; members of staff and invited dignitaries.

Speaking on the broader objectives of AJE 2.0, Team Building anchor Babatunde Ogundiran highlighted the resilience and drive of the company’s workforce. He said the initiative was a reflection of the “determined and continuous effort to excel irrespective of challenges.” He added that the company’s values, Fearless, Dreamer, Entrepreneur, Passion, and Brotherhood, would continue to guide its growth.

AJE Group Director Cunliffe noted that the event was held to mark three key milestones: the commissioning of the new production line, a team-building exercise, and a long service award. “We felt the need to appreciate and celebrate the staff who stood with us through thick and thin,” he said.

Meanwhile, the firm’s CFO, Torres, also commended the awardees, saying, “We are happy to appreciate and put smiles on the faces of all our staff, especially the awardees, as we celebrate this special day. We look forward to the next edition and hope to make it bigger.”

Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr Olayinka Akerele, noted that the event showed the company’s commitment to innovation and staff welfare, adding, “We want our staff to see that they are valued, and this appreciation is meant to encourage them to become their very best.”

The company honoured several employees for their years of dedication and service. Awardees included Folorunsho Owolabi, Francis Igenegbai, Unugor Bashir, Emmanuel Olatunji, Raheem Babatunde, and Mathias Williams, among others.
