Afroganiks Targets $6.3tn Global African Wellness Market

Afroganiks Industries Limited, a Nigerian health and wellness company, has declared its readiness to make a significant impact in the global wellness market, valued at a staggering $6.3tn.

With a bold multinational business model, the company aims to expand its footprint across Africa, create thousands of jobs, and champion a new era of African-led health entrepreneurship, according to a statement on Wednesday.

According to the Founder and Chief Executive of Afroganiks Industries, Dr. Jephter Akaehie, the company’s approach is deeply rooted in leveraging Africa’s vast and rich biodiversity to produce high-quality, organically-sourced health supplements and wellness products. “We believe in providing high-quality, affordable, and organically-sourced health supplements and wellness products for local and global markets,” Akaehie stated.

The company’s unique methodology combines indigenous African herbs with advanced scientific research and innovative manufacturing processes, ensuring that each product is both effective and evidence-backed.

This approach has enabled Afroganiks to develop a range of certified herbal medicines and food supplements that address various health concerns, from digestive health and fertility to prostate and vaginal care.

Afroganiks has already made a significant economic impact, serving over 500,000 customers across West Africa and empowering hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises through contract manufacturing and training. “We are not just a business; we are a catalyst for economic growth and health education,” Akaehie said, underscoring the company’s role as a force for positive change in the region.

The company’s services also include contract manufacturing and private labelling, which provide other brands with the opportunity to develop their own high-quality health products. This initiative not only diversifies Afroganiks’ revenue streams but also helps to grow the broader health and wellness ecosystem in Africa.

Looking ahead, Afroganiks has ambitious plans for expansion into international markets and further investment in product innovation. A key component of this forward-looking vision is the crucial mission of building Africa’s manufacturing capacity. To achieve this, the company is establishing training platforms such as the Young African Business School of Manufacturing.

This initiative aims to cultivate the next generation of African manufacturers, promoting African-made products on a global scale and solidifying the company’s position as a model of African excellence in health entrepreneurship. Akaehie reiterated that Afroganiks is poised to lead the charge in showcasing Africa’s potential to the world, proving that tradition and science can work hand-in-hand to create a prosperous future.

Afroganiks’ products, according to the statement, are NAFDAC-approved and manufactured in Good Manufacturing Practice-compliant facilities, a testament to their commitment to meeting and exceeding stringent quality standards.
