Black House Media and Allison Worldwide, in partnership with The King’s Trust, are set to host African business, policy, and cultural leaders at the second edition of the Africa Breakfast Conversations on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
Scheduled for September 26 at the World Trade Centre, the invite-only event will focus on Africa’s potential as a hub for innovation, sustainable development, and youth-led growth, according to Thursday’s release.
Themed ‘African Innovation: Building Together for Sustainable Development’, the gathering will feature panel discussions, keynote addresses, and networking sessions spotlighting business, technology, creative industries, and diaspora engagement.
The Managing Director, Africa, at Allison, Claudine Moore, said, “Africa’s innovation story is no longer emerging; it’s here. This gathering at UNGA 80 is about moving from conversation to collaboration, ensuring that Africa’s youthful energy, creativity, and expertise are met with the resources and partnerships to build sustainable futures.”

The event also underscores the importance of youth empowerment, skills development, and leadership opportunities in shaping Africa’s future, bringing together African and diaspora leaders, innovators, and changemakers to showcase African-led solutions at the centre of global discussions.
