Africa Quality Awards & Exhibition Set for Lagos

The African Quality Academy is set to host the 11th edition of the African Quality Congress, African Quality Achievements Awards, and Exhibition later this month at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, themed “Managing Quality for Growth, Innovation, and Improvement,” aims to promote quality culture, standards, and best practices across Africa.

According to the organisers, the African Quality Congress has grown into a major continental forum for fostering professional engagement and a culture of continuous improvement.

“Each year, it brings together leaders from government, business, and civil society to explore actionable strategies and elevate quality standards in both public and private sectors across Africa,” they stated in a statement on Sunday.

The African Quality Achievements Awards will recognise individuals, organizations, and government institutions that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to quality assurance, performance excellence, and customer satisfaction.

The awards will honour achievements in applying quality metrics and best practices to planning, implementation, and control systems that support both corporate and developmental goals.

The event will also feature a vibrant Quality Exhibition and Showcase, presenting quality-driven innovations, products, and services of organisations. This will provide participants with an opportunity to increase brand visibility, interact with key stakeholders, and highlight their leadership in quality excellence.

The AQAA is a brainchild of the African Quality Academy, presented in collaboration with the World Quality Alliance and supported by the Chartered Quality Institute (UK). It stands as one of Africa’s most respected platforms for recognizing excellence in quality leadership and institutional development.

The 2025 edition of the African Quality Congress is expected to draw industry leaders, policymakers, development experts, and quality professionals from across the continent. It promises to be a defining event in shaping the future of quality and innovation in Africa.
