Adedipe Congratulates APC Leadership On Successful Convention


An aspirant for Akure North and South Federal Constituency, Barrister Adebiyi Alex-Adedipe, has congratulated the national body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the successful conclusion of its national convention, held on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at Eagle Square in Abuja, where new national officers to direct the affairs of the party were duly elected into office.

Adedipe commended the peaceful and well-coordinated environment under which the Congress was held while acknowledging the incredible role of the leadership of the President under the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration for conducting a peaceful, transparent convention.

He described the convention as a true demonstration of the APC’s commitment to internal democracy and progressive leadership.

He also noted that the smooth transition and reaffirmation of the party’s leadership reflect the unity, which is one of the major tenets upon which the party is built and sustained at all levels.

He gave special recognition to the reelected national officers, including the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, South-West Zonal Chairman of the party, Isaacs Kekemeke and the newly elected South-West Zonal Youth Leader of the APC, Daramola Adesuyi, using them as reference points to others while applauding their dedication, resilience, and continued service to the party.

He expressed confidence in their ability to build on past achievements and steer the party toward greater success.

Barr. Adedipe further urged all party members to remain united and committed to the ideals of the APC, emphasising that collective effort and loyalty are essential for sustaining progress and achieving future electoral victories.
