ADC Supporters Rally Behind Nakudu Ahead Of Jigawa Gov’ship Primaries

Supporters of Senator Mohammed Sabo Nakudu on Sunday stormed his residence in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, to show solidarity ahead of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship and State Assembly primaries scheduled for Tuesday, May 26 across Jigawa’s 27 Local Government areas.

The gathering brought together party loyalists and political stakeholders from across the state to mobilise support for Senator Nakudu’s governorship bid on the ADC platform.

Chairing the meeting on Nakudu’s behalf, former NNPP governorship candidate in the 2023 election, Mallam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, said it was convened to strategise ahead of the primaries scheduled for next week in the state.

Ringim said Senator Nakudu was fully prepared to participate in the governorship primary and expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious.

He added that Nakudu has the political experience, leadership qualities, and grassroots support needed to secure the ADC ticket and lead the party to success in the state.

“With the grace of Almighty Allah and the collective support of party members, Senator Nakudu will clinch the governorship ticket,” he said.

Ringim also urged ADC members and supporters across Jigawa to remain united and back Nakudu’s candidacy to strengthen the party ahead of the elections.

Political observers say the growing support for Senator Nakudu within the ADC could reshape the political landscape ahead of the next electoral contest in Jigawa State.
