ADC Executive Honored for Digital Transformation Leadership


Regional Executive, West Africa, at Africa Data Centres, Dr. Krishnan Ranganath, has been recognised as a Digital Transformation Pioneer for his significant contributions to Nigeria’s digital economy.

The honour was bestowed on him at Africa’s Beacon of ICT Merit and Leadership Awards, an event that brought together over 200 prominent figures from the ICT industry, regulatory bodies, and the financial sector. The awards celebrate individuals driving innovation and digital growth across the continent.

Fondly known in the industry as “Dr. Krish,” Dr. Ranganath has played a leading role in developing Nigeria’s data centre infrastructure, a critical foundation for digital innovation, business scalability, and national connectivity.

His efforts have also earned him a place on KnowHow Media’s list of the Top 50 Most Valuable Personalities in Nigeria’s Digital Economy.

The media group highlighted his foresight, innovation, and dedication to building digital infrastructure that enables progress.

“Nigeria’s digital economy continues to thrive, driven by the foresight, innovation, and resilience of individuals like you,” said Vice Chairman of KnowHow Media, Segun Oruame, while presenting the recognition.

Ranganath’s leadership at Africa Data Centres has supported businesses across sectors, fostered digital literacy, and contributed to job creation and economic diversification.

“This recognition is not just about me, but about the collective efforts of our team and partners who believe in the transformative power of digital infrastructure,” Ranganath said in his acceptance speech. “Our goal is to continue providing world-class facilities that enable Nigeria’s digital ambitions.”
