Accion Microfinance Bank has expanded its footprint in Nigeria with the opening of its 74th branch in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the branch was opened earlier this month at an event attended by key stakeholders, community leaders, staff, and customers.
Accion MfB said its decision to open a new branch is based on its commitment to providing accessible and affordable financial services to individuals, traders, and small businesses.
In his opening remarks during the tape-cutting ceremony of the branch opening, the Managing Director of Accion MfB, Taiwo Joda, reiterated the bank’s commitment to strategically grow its network and retail business to positively impact the individual and business aspirations of its ever-increasing customer base and the general public.
He also emphasised that through a customer-centric approach and value-orientated services, Accion MfB is coming from a position of knowledge and experience, which allows the bank to effectively address customers’ banking needs by providing personalised solutions.
The new branch features quality facilities designed for convenience, security, and efficiency. Customers can access a wide range of services, including business and personal loans, savings, fast and secure digital banking, and dedicated customer support.
Before the opening, the bank conducted a two-day market storm across key commercial areas in Ilorin, engaging traders and residents to raise awareness about the bank’s services.
With this development, customers around the axis now have another convenient location for their transactions to further enjoy the value-added offerings that the bank has been known for since its establishment 19 years ago.
Accion Microfinance Bank says it remains committed to providing innovative financial solutions and exceptional customer service, empowering individuals and communities to thrive, and will continue to unveil customer value propositions that provide ongoing support and financial resources to help businesses.
