Abia State has entered into a strategic partnership with Nigeria’s leading information and communications technology company, ipNX, to enhance digital connectivity and accelerate the state’s digital economy.

The partnership, disclosed in a Thursday statement, marks a significant step in the government’s efforts to create a more interconnected and technologically advanced economy.

It was formalised during a visit by the ipNX leadership team to the Abia State Government House, where both parties outlined plans for the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge ICT infrastructure.

According to the agreement, ipNX will support Abia State in strengthening its digital ecosystem by providing high-speed broadband and advanced ICT solutions to connect citizens, businesses, and government institutions.

The agreement is part of a broader vision to create a platform that will drive a thriving digital economy, improve public service delivery, and ensure the state’s holistic participation in the global digital landscape.

The Group Executive Director, Commercials, ipNX Mrs. Bimpe Olaleye, representing the Group Managing Director, Ejovi Aror, said, “In line with the agreement, ipNX will lead the effort to develop an innovative telecommunications system designed to deliver seamless connectivity across the state’s secretariat, ministries, departments, and agencies for efficient service delivery.
