Abbey Afowoslide Out With ‘No Shaking’


Versatile performing musician and musicologist, Abbey Afowoslide is out with a new release titled ‘No Shaking’.

More than just a song, it is a bold statement of confidence and resilience, encouraging listeners to stand firm and move forward despite challenges.

Known for blending artistry with depth, Afowoslide continues to create music that inspires while entertaining, solidifying his reputation as an artist who merges substance with sound.

According to the skilled trombonist, Afowoslide emphasizes that

success is not made a la carte and No Shaking mean one should take things easy and be ready to learn and grow.

Beyond ‘No Shaking:, Afowoslide’s earlier single “Soft Life’ explored the universal desire for a stress-free and fulfilling lifestyle. The song was released recently and is on some music sites and being played on radio stations.

Afowoslide started his musical career as a child in Lagos, Nigeria, playing guitar and drums before developing a passion for the trombone. His stage name reflects his instrumental skill, combining his moniker with his instrument

His music blends unique trombone melodies with Afrocentric rhythms, highlife, and reggae fusion, incorporating themes of love and peace.

As the leader of this 13-person band, Abinobi Groovy Band, Afowoslide’s work promotes African music globally through dynamic and synergistic live performances.

He released his debut album, ARA, in May 2022. He has also released singles such as “Take It Easy” (2025) and “No Shaking” (2025).
