a new off-road traveller SUV

Automobile enthusiasts in Nigeria now have a new reason to celebrate as Jetour Nigeria launches the Jetour T2 Traveller, a bold and versatile addition to the country’s growing sport utility vehicle market.

Described by the automaker as “where adventure meets modern luxury”, the T2 Traveller is a large, 4×4 SUV built to combine rugged power with refined comfort, according to a statement from the firm. It is designed for travellers and adventure seekers who crave an off-road experience without compromising on style, performance, or technology.

Under the hood, the Jetour T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, delivering 187 kW of power and 390 Nm of torque.

The SUV’s fully automatic intelligent four-wheel-drive system ensures smooth handling and stability across diverse terrains, from city highways to rough countryside trails.

Inside, the T2 Traveller offers a spacious and flexible interior, accommodating multiple seating configurations for families and long-distance adventurers. A 15.6-inch infotainment screen, premium upholstery, and driver-focused controls elevate the experience, while the panoramic sunroof, Sony 12-speaker sound system, and air purification system enhance passenger comfort.

Safety and driver-assist features are equally impressive. The T2 comes equipped with multiple airbags, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, and 540° panoramic parking cameras for maximum situational awareness. Additional features such as wading sensing, adaptive cruise control, and electronic parking brake with auto hold further strengthen its safety credentials.

Jetour also emphasises convenience, offering features like remote start, smart entry with push-button ignition, intelligent voice control, and multiple drive modes, including Sport, Eco, Normal, and Rock, to suit different driving conditions.

According to Jetour Nigeria, the T2 Traveller embodies a “traveller’s spirit” fused with innovation and durability. Positioned as a go-anywhere luxury SUV, it is tailored to meet the needs of Nigerians seeking both adventure and everyday practicality.

With its combination of power, technology, and sophistication, the Jetour T2 Traveller reaffirms Jetour’s commitment to delivering high-performance vehicles that resonate with modern lifestyles and the aspirations of today’s discerning drivers.
