The House of Representatives Committee on Housing and Habitat has invited the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), Dr Armstrong Takang and his management team as it begins investigation into the MOFI Real Estate Investment Fund (MREIF).
Chairman of the committee, Abdulmumin Jibrin, who disclosed this yesterday in Abuja, said the investigation commences today, at the National Assembly. According to Jibrin, the committee is embarking on the exercise to ensure that the administration and performance of MREIF meets the expectations of the president.
He added that the committee will take a comprehensive look at the activities and performance of the MREF as well as address multiple petitions. He said: “The managing director and entire management of MREIF have been summoned to attend the session unfailingly.”
