The Advocates for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (A4BAT) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election.
The group described the outcome as a reflection of confidence in the President:s leadership and reform agenda.
The group in a statement by its Director General, Dr. Okoye Tochukwu Nobert; Secretary, Yemi Ijaodoro ; and Northwest coordinator, Saad Rufai Mustapha, said Tinubu’s emergence as the party’s candidate was a testament to his political experience, resilience and commitment to national development.
The group noted that despite economic and social challenges confronting the country, the President had continued to pursue policies aimed at stabilising the economy, improving infrastructure and repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth.
According to the statement, Nigerians should rally round the President and support his administration in order to achieve lasting peace, unity and economic prosperity.
The group urged political leaders, youths and other stakeholders to place national interest above partisan considerations, stressing that collective support and cooperation were necessary for the country to overcome its present challenges.
It added that Tinubu’s victory should serve as a unifying factor for members of the party and Nigerians across political, ethnic and religious divides.
The statement further called on opposition parties and supporters to embrace issue-based politics and contribute constructively to the nation’s democratic development.
“We congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well-deserved victory at the primary election. This victory is not just for him alone, but for all Nigerians who believe in progress, stability and the continued development of our dear nation,” the group stated.
The group expressed optimism that with continued support from Nigerians, the administration would deliver more democratic dividends and strengthen the country’s economy and institutions.
