Hamzat Presents APC Gubernatorial Primary Results To Tinubu


Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, has presented the official results of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election to President Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos.

Hamzat was accompanied by his wife, Oluremi, during the visit, where the delegation formally briefed the President on the outcome of the party’s primary process in Lagos State ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

According to Hamzat, securing the party’s nomination represents both an honour and a significant responsibility, noting that his administration remains committed to delivering inclusive development across the state.

He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that Lagos remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and young people can access meaningful opportunities.

Hamzat also expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by party members and supporters, stressing that the focus now is to translate the trust into tangible progress and sustained development across the state.

President Bola Tinubu had earlier arrived Lagos following a three-nation trip to France, Kenya, and Rwanda in order to participate in the primary election of the APC.
