Eno Emerges APC Gov’ship Candidate In A’Ibom


Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has expressed gratitude after being elected as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections in the state.

The governor disclosed that his nomination took place during a ward-level political exercise in Ibiakpan Obotim Ward II, where members of the APC endorsed him as the party’s flag bearer for the forthcoming election.

Describing the development as a renewed call to service, Umo Eno said the nomination reflects the confidence of party members and stakeholders in his leadership and vision for the state.

He stated that his administration would continue to build on the achievements recorded under the ARISE Agenda while introducing further improvements through what he described as ARISE Agenda 2.0.

The governor also expressed appreciation to the President, Bola Tinubu; Senate President, Godswill Akpabio; the leadership of the APC, and the people of Akwa Ibom State for their continued support and confidence.

Eno pledged to remain committed to peace, unity, and sustained development across the state as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify.

He added that his administration would focus on consolidating progress while addressing areas that require further attention to ensure inclusive growth and development in Akwa Ibom State.
