Nollywood actress and estranged wife of legendary Nigerian singer, 2Baba, Annie Macaulay, has announced a new project that will mark her comeback to acting.

Taking to her official Instagram page on Friday, the actress shared a video of the upcoming movie as she shared her excitement about returning to the set.

According to her, returning to the movie set brought her memories of her early career in the Nigerian movie industry.

She spoke about her development, fresh starts, and chances to keep using cinema to communicate tales.

“Being back on set, creating stories, becoming different characters, and doing what I truly love reminds me of why I started this journey in the first place.

“Acting will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m honestly so happy to be back doing what brings me joy.

“Grateful for growth, new beginnings, and every opportunity to keep telling stories through film. The magic is still there… and this is only the beginning again”, she wrote.

New Telegraph recalls that following her divorce from 2Baba, Macaulay is starting a new chapter with her statement.

She removed all of the pictures from her Instagram page after the split, and then she sent a thank-you message to her network for supporting her during a trying time.

The mother of two has concentrated on her own development and new endeavours since the split.

Annie Macaulay is well-known for her parts in movies including “Morning After Dark,” “Pleasure and Crime,” and “Blackberry Babes.”
