Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday, 20 May, 2026 received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland, Mr. Krzysztof Gawkowski, at Lagos House, Marina.
The governor disclosed this in a post shared on social media after the meeting.
According to him, they had a discussion about the future of the digital economy and the opportunities that exist through collaboration and partnership.

He affirmed that Lagos State remains the commercial and digital hub of Nigeria, driven by a young and innovative population.
Also, he reiterated Lagos State’s commitment to building the right infrastructure to support investment and sustainable growth noting the government’s openness and readiness to work with partners who share in its vision for the future.
