APC S’South Primaries Signal Support For Tinubu

The South South Coordinator of the Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Mr Okunboro Osaretin, has said the peaceful and successful conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries across the South South geopolitical zone was a clear indication of growing support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, Osaretin commended the leadership of the APC in the region for what he described as focused and purposeful leadership that ensured a rancour-free exercise, insisting that the outcome reflected the region’s unity behind the president.

He said, “On behalf of the RTIFN in the South South, I wish to congratulate the leadership of the APC in our region for the focused leadership they provided that led to the peaceful conduct of the primaries.

“Though this did not come to us as a surprise, it reinforces our often-stated position that the South South is solidly behind President Tinubu.

“On our part, we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that we mobilise the electorate in the region to massively vote for President Tinubu in 2027.”

Speaking on why President Tinubu remains the candidate to beat in 2027, Osaretin said the administration had, in the last three years, laid a solid foundation capable of repositioning the country for greatness despite current economic challenges.

“As a great leader that he is, the president has taken hard decisions that have truly put the country on a solid foundation for greatness.

“The pain being endured by Nigerians at the moment is like labour pain. You must endure labour pain to give birth to a child. Nigerians will be better off, and our country is being positioned to achieve its real potential.

The RTIFN South South Coordinator also expressed optimism over the nation’s security outlook, citing Nigeria’s growing partnership with the United States in tackling insecurity as evidence of President Tinubu’s visionary leadership.

“That partnership is already bearing fruit. The recent elimination of ISIS’s number two man is a clear indication that better things lie ahead.

“Nigerians must rally round President Tinubu to get the desired results. With him, we will overcome the security challenge in the country,” he added.
