Zamfara APC Screens 105 House Of Assembly Aspirants

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the watch of the APC Screening Committee Chairman, Hon. Ishaq Bala, screened 105 aspirants, who filled and returned their nomination forms out of the 114 forms initially sold out by the party

The State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Ibrahim Muhammad Magaji, stated that the remaining nine of the purchased forms were yet to be returned to access the screening exercise.

“As for those who declined the return of their nomination forms for reasons best known to them, they are given more time to do so but should not exceed 06:00 pm on Tuesday 12/05/2026.

“Should they return their nomination forms before the stated time, then they will still undergo the screening exercise, failure of which their forms would be declared invalid for their refusal to abide by the directives given by the party,” Birnin Magaji said.

According to him, the exercise is almost concluded if not because the scheduled deadline was eventually extended to 06:00 pm for those who are yet to show up.

“The outcome of the screening would be ready later, and it would virtually indicate the successful aspirants and those who failed due to some deficiencies to be identified in the process of checking their credentials”, he added.
