Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani has dismissed reports of a crisis within the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), saying the situation was a “slight misunderstanding” that has now been resolved.

The development reportedly led to claims that the forum had split into factions, with another bloc allegedly aligned with Dapo Abiodun and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
However, Sani, who serves as vice chairman of the forum, insisted that there was no leadership change and that all governors remain united.
“In my own opinion, I don’t think it’s a serious issue… it was just a slight misunderstanding,” he said, adding that disagreements are a normal part of democratic engagement.
He reaffirmed that Governor Uzodimma remains the chairman of the forum, noting that any leadership change would have seen him assume the role in his capacity as deputy chairman.
Sani also disclosed that President Bola Tinubu intervened in the matter, contributing to a swift resolution of the disagreement.
He assured that the forum is now stable and cohesive, stressing that Nigerians should not expect further disputes.
“You will never hear anything again… everything is okay,” Sani stated, reiterating that the issue has been fully resolved.
