Bauchi First Lady Joins Nat’l Women Empowerment Rally In Abuja


The First Lady of Bauchi State, Her Excellency Hajiya Amb. Aisha Bala Mohammed, on Saturday attended the 2026 National Women Empowerment Mega Rally held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

The rally, themed “10 Million Power of Women,” was organised by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development and chaired by the First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu.

The event drew women leaders, government officials and stakeholders from across the country, with participants discussing strategies aimed at promoting women’s empowerment and national development.

The Bauchi State First Lady led the state’s delegation to the rally, where women from the state actively participated in the national gathering.

Speaking on the significance of the programme, participants emphasised the need for greater inclusion of women in governance, economic activities and community development.

The rally also highlighted the role of women in nation-building and reinforced commitments by state governments and relevant stakeholders to initiatives supporting women’s empowerment and socio-economic growth.

The event featured goodwill messages, solidarity displays and discussions focused on strengthening opportunities for women across various sectors of the economy.
