Following the recommendations by the National Judicial Council (NJC), the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, John Tsoho, has approved a fresh posting schedule for newly appointed judges.
Justice Tsoho’s approval was contained in a press statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the court’s Director of Information, Dr Catherine-Oby Christopher.
According to the statement, all affected judges are expected to assume duty at their new stations on May 13.
The statement read, “Following the recent appointment of 14 new judges and the reposting of three existing judges of the Federal High Court, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, has approved and released a new posting schedule for judges of the Court to various judicial divisions across the country.”

Under the new arrangement, Justice Hassan Dikko was posted to the Gusau Division in Zamfara State, while Justices Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius were assigned to the Abuja Division.
Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan will serve in the Osogbo Division of Osun State, while Justice Muhammad Saidu was posted to the Minna Division in Niger State.
Also affected are Justice Igboko Conchita, posted to the Akure Division in Ondo State; Justice Onuegbu Angela, assigned to the Yenagoa Division in Bayelsa State; and Justice Galumje Edingah, who will serve in the Abakaliki Division of Ebonyi State.
Others include Justice Ibrahim Eneabo to the Gombe Division, Justice Abubakar Usman to the Ado-Ekiti Division in Ekiti State, Justice Salihu Yunusa to the Damaturu Division in Yobe State, and Justice Ikpeme Bassey to the Uyo Division in Akwa Ibom State.
The Chief Judge also posted Justice Shehu Adamu to Maiduguri Division in Borno State, Justice Mohammed Buba to Dutse Division in Jigawa State, and Justice Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith to Lokoja Division in Kogi State.
In addition, Justice Usoro Uduak and Justice Nwoye Osinachi Donatus were assigned to the Lagos Division.
The statement added that the postings take immediate effect.
