The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has reaffirmed its commitment to accountability and professionalism through the continued strengthening of its Police Complaints Response Unit (CRU).
Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olatunji Rilwan Disu, disclosed this during an emergency conference with Commissioners of Police and members of the media held at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Peacekeeping Centre in Abuja.
According to the IGP, the Complaints Response Unit remains operational round-the-clock, providing Nigerians with direct channels to report cases of police misconduct, abuse of office, extortion, human rights violations, and other unethical behaviour involving police personnel.
