Following Bayern Munich’s semi-final exit from the Champions League on Wednesday night, Harry Kane has backed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the team to beat in the final against Arsenal.
New Telegraph had earlier reported that the PSG advanced to the final after a dramatic 6–5 aggregate win over Bayern, sealing their place despite a 1–1 draw in Munich on Wednesday night.
An early strike from Ousmane Dembélé in the second leg gave the French champions a crucial advantage in the tie.
Although Kane found the net in stoppage time, his goal served only as a consolation for the German side.
Luis Enrique’s team now prepares to face Arsenal, who are set to contest their first Champions League final in two decades.
Kane Predicts UCL Winner
Arsenal booked their place in the Champions League final in Budapest on Friday, April 30, after a hard-fought 2–1 aggregate victory over Atlético Madrid, but Harry Kane still views them as underdogs heading into the showpiece.

According to reports, the Bayern Munich striker admitted he believes Paris Saint-Germain hold the edge in the final.

“In my opinion, PSG are slightly favourites in the final,” Kane revealed in his interview on Sky Sports Germany.
Kane found it difficult to influence the semi-final tie, as he was kept quiet by a disciplined PSG defence marshalled by Willian Pacho and Marquinhos.
With Bayern’s European journey now over, the England captain has turned his attention to domestic competition and the pursuit of silverware.
“It’s tough. We had enough chances today to reach the final,” he reflected. “Now my focus is on the DFB-Pokal final. We have the chance to win the double.”
Meanwhile, PSG are chasing history, aiming to become the first team to retain the Champions League since Real Madrid achieved back-to-back titles between 2016 and 2018.
