Governor Bala Mohammed has charged intending pilgrims from Bauchi State to uphold the highest standards of discipline, humility, and devotion as they embark on the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The Governor gave the charge while bidding farewell to the pilgrims at the Bauchi State Hajj Camp, describing their selection as a rare spiritual privilege that comes with great responsibility.
He urged them to serve as worthy ambassadors of Bauchi State and Nigeria by demonstrating good conduct, patience, and respect throughout their stay in the Holy Land.
Governor Mohammed further advised the pilgrims to remain focused on the spiritual essence of the pilgrimage, while adhering strictly to guidelines set by Hajj officials to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
He also called on them to use the opportunity to offer prayers for peace, unity, and sustainable development in Bauchi State and across Nigeria.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of the pilgrims, assuring that adequate arrangements have been made to guarantee a smooth and successful pilgrimage.
