Glo Celebrates Workers On May Day


Digital solutions company, Globacom, has lauded Nigerian workers for their consistent contributions and commitment to the development of the country.

The company gave the commendation as workers globally celebrate the 2026 International Workers’ Day. In a statement issued in Lagos yesterday, Globacom appreciated the role of labour in oiling Nigeria’s wheel of development, affirming that workers remained a very important lever in the progress of any country.

It called on workers to remain focused and steadfast in giving their best to the nation, as their contributions in public and private sectors are crucial in helping Nigeria achieve the desired the growth and progress.

“We urge staff in both the public and private sectors not to relent in pushing for the development of the country through their work”, the company noted. The International Labour Day is celebrated every year on May 1 to commemorate the role and importance of workers across the world.
