Dangote, Saudi Envoy Discuss Investment Opportunities In Energy, Infrastructure


Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote and Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Balawi have held talks on how to boost investments opportunities in energy and infrastructure.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) also reported that the talks were geared to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, and that it was held on Friday at the ambassador’s residence in the diplomatic quarter in Abuja.

Al-Balawi said the discussions showcased growing momentum in Saudi-Nigerian economic relations and a shared commitment to deepen cooperation across key sectors, including energy, industry, and infrastructure.

According to him, the discussions highlighted the evolving economic partnership between both countries, with a focus on investment opportunities of mutual interest.

Al-Balawi said: “This engagement reflects the growing momentum in Saudi–Nigerian economic relations and our shared commitment to deepen cooperation across key sectors of our economies.
