I Prioritise My Kids Over Anyone Else

Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has said he would prioritise his children over anyone or anything if forced to choose.

Taking to his official Instagram page on Friday, the father of four said he would choose his children without any doubt.

“As a dad, if I find myself in a situation where I must choose between my children and anyone/anything else, I’ll choose my children,” he wrote.

Churchill made this remark shortly after he uploaded a video featuring his first daughter and son he has with Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh enjoying time together in Abuja.

He noted that observing his children connect brings him a sense of tranquility that requires no endorsement adding that regardless of obstacles and separation, they bonded instinctively and smoothly from the instant they encountered each other.

According to him, in a world filled with uncertainty, what his children express is genuine and sincere love, stating that what his children possess cannot be replicated or removed, and he feels immense pride.

He wrote, “Watching my children love each other the way they do reaches a part of me I can’t fully explain. It brings me a kind of peace that doesn’t need validation.

“Life hasn’t been perfect. There have been challenges and distance. But from the moment they met, they connected in a way that was natural and effortless. Nothing was forced. It just happened.

“They chose each other. In a world where so much can be uncertain, what they share is real and honest. As a father, there is nothing greater than seeing that.

“When I look at them, I see a love that rose above everything. Differences, circumstances, whatever may have come between them, they didn’t hold onto it. They simply found each other. That alone gives me peace.

“At the end of the day, I will always choose my children. Every single time. Without hesitation.

“What they have is something no one can manufacture and no one can take away. And I am proud. More than words can express.”
