Soludo Appoints Heads Of Educational, Health Institutions In Anambra 


Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has made fresh appointments in the education sector and the health institutions

Soludo appointed Dr Justina Chinyere Anyadiegwu as the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB).

According to the statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Soludo, Mr Christian Aburime, “Dr Justina Chinyere Anyadiegwu is expected to leverage her extensive experience as a renowned teacher, linguist, and administrator to help transform the universal basic education system in Anambra State”, he said.

Currently, the Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Dr Anyadiegwu is a foremost English Language lecturer with over 30 years of experience, having taught at the primary, secondary and tertiary education levels in Nigeria.

Similarly, Soludo appointed Dr Ezeaka Augustine Uwaeme as the Executive Secretary of Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), as well as Dr Obianuju Chinelo Okoye as the Executive Secretary of Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency.

Also appointed is Dr Hillary Nkem Okeke as the Executive Director of the Anambra State AIDS Control Agency.

Continuing, Aburime described the appointees as well-experienced and vastly read professionals in their respective fields of endeavour.

“Dr Uwaeme is a seasoned medical practitioner with over 22 years of experience in Medicine and Surgery, during which he has acquired extensive clinical and management expertise”

“Dr Okoye is an experienced medical practitioner with strong administrative competencies, exceptional training skills, and extensive clinical practice that cuts across hospitals and the public health sector”

“Dr Okeke is an award-winning, multi-skilled medical expert and lecturer who combines cognate clinical experience with outstanding research capabilities. With research interests in epidemiology, global health management, and community and social care management

and more, Dr Okeke has presented quality papers at conferences and seminars”

“With their diverse top-notch skills and rich clinical experiences, Dr Ezeka Augustine Uwaeme, Dr Obianuju Chinelo Okoye, and Dr Hillary Nkem Okeke are trusted to elevate the quality of healthcare delivery in Anambra State to greater heights”
