The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, has on Thursday paid a visit to the Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) aimed at strengthening the existing synergy, revitalising the relationship, inducing better energy, networking and partnership in combating violence, crimes and criminality in the state.
Speaking during the visit, CP AM Bello, said he was at the Command of the NSCDC to familiarize and seek extensive partnership, as the basic step of new administration in public service, saying, “I appreciate the NSCDC as a noble partner of internal security architecture and subsequently wish to seek a profound collaboration beyond synergism but also partnership and networking in combating crimes and criminality in Zamfara state”.
“The NFP and NSCDC are public security institutions mandated to provide national security; in view of the aforementioned and security challenges faced by Zamfara state, it is essential to strengthen and enhance the work relationship between the two agencies”.
“The metropolitan population is heightened due to rural inaccessibility, and criminal activities are proportional to safeguard lives, property and integrity of this state.
“It is cardinal to coordinate and enhance partnership to secure the future of Zamfara State from challenges rampaging its socio-economic and security welfare”, CP AM Bello has stressed.
Responding, the NSCDC boss, Commandant Sani Mustapha, assured the CP of the command’s resolute commitment to uphold the 3-Cs, as continually amplified by the Commandant General, Professor A. Audi, to collaborate, cooperate and coordinate, being keys to achieving the respective mandates.

Renew alliance and work relentlessly in partnership with the NPF, the lead, internal security of our nation; in furtherance, I am reaffirming that security agencies must bond and cooperate, and the synergism between the NSCDC and NPF was birthed from inception”.
The Commandant promulgated the necessity of continuous partnership, collaboration and networking with sister agencies to promote the security situation in the state; insisting on the command’s willingness to aid and complement the Nigeria Police Force to secure the State.
