APC Chides Critics Over Tinubu’s Achievements

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned individuals and groups undermining the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the country.

This is contained in a press statement issued by Malam Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media to the APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday in Sokoto.

According to Dingyadi, some groups, mostly from opposition parties, were using social media handles to spread false and unfounded reports about the President’s scorecard.

He said such people prioritise selfish interests over patriotism, national peace, security, and nation-building.

Dingyadi stressed that using misleading information, unfounded accusations, and political propaganda to disparage the remarkable achievements of President Tinubu’s administration, particularly in the North, should be condemned.

According to him, people should acknowledge the improved security, developmental strides, transformations, and projects executed for the interest of the people, which would encourage continuous governance.

“The use of vulgar language, criticism, condemnation, and spreading false information is not expected from good and patriotic Nigerians, considering the country’s situation before Tinubu’s administration,” he said.

Dingyadi added that the APC national working committee, under Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has ensured transformation in the economic sector, improved security for citizens, agricultural, educational, and healthcare improvements, road and housing constructions, and social interventions, among others.

He said the APC would continue to strive to uplift people’s lives in all forms and counter misinformation being circulated to undermine the administration’s successes.

Dingyadi enjoined Nigerians to be wary of misleading information from opposition parties and critics trying to secure support by condemning the good services of President Tinubu.
