The Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on all political leaders in the state to see the 2027 elections not just as a political contest, but a struggle for the soul and future of the State and nation.

Chairman, PDP Caretaker Committee Abia State, Ikpegbu Emeka Yellow, in an interview, also urged political stakeholders irrespective of party affiliation, to rise above partisan interests and unite in defense of democracy.

According to him, other opposition forces and parties in Abia State, should synergize to work together in resisting any attempt by the APC to infiltrate, destabilize, or dominate the political space through undemocratic means.

Emeka-Yellow reassured “members, supporters, and the good people of Abia State and Nigeria that our party remains strong, united, and fully prepared for the task ahead.

We are firmly on ground and will field credible, competent, and people-oriented candidates in all elections come 2027.”
