Following her DUI arrest last month in the Los Angeles area, American pop sensation Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into a treatment centre.
The 44-year-old singer, on March 4, was taken into custody in Ventura, California, on accusations of driving while intoxicated and released the next day.
One of the artist’s managers, who spoke in an interview on Sunday, April 12, revealed that she had checked herself into a rehabilitation facility.
New Telegraph recall that Spears is expected to appear in court for her DUI arrest, which her rep called an “unfortunate incident” that was “completely inexcusable.”

“Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in a long-overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.
“Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time,
“Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue plan to set her up for success for well-being,” the statement said.
Spears’ erratic behaviour has drawn concern from fans following the end of her conservatorship in 2021.
