Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has paid a condolence visit to the District Head of Alkaleri, Alhaji Bala Mohammed, over the death of Hajiya Fatima, who passed away at the age of over 80.
The Governor, accompanied by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Auwal Jatau, and other Senior Government officials over the weekend, visited the District Head at his residence, where they were received by family members and sympathisers.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Mohammed described the late Hajiya Fatima’s death as a great loss to her family and the Alkaleri community, noting that her life was marked by humility, compassion and service to humanity.
He said her contributions would remain a lasting legacy.
He prayed for the repose of her soul and urged the family to take solace in her impactful life.
In his response, the District Head expressed gratitude to the Governor and his delegation for the visit, describing it as a demonstration of solidarity.
He also commended the Governor for ongoing developmental efforts in Alkaleri and across Bauchi State.
