FG Pledges Sustained Operational Support, Renewed Resolve For Military

Following the recent terrorist attack in Borno State, the Federal Government has assured the military of sustained operational support and renewed security resolve.

According to a release by his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, this assurance was delivered by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, who was on an abrupt trip to Maiduguri yesterday on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to condole with the Nigerian Army and Borno State government over the latest attacks which claimed the life of Brigadier General Oseni Braimah and some officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army.

Recognising the sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Shettima said: “These men wore the uniform for all of us. They stood to protect our communities, our families, and the future of our children.

Their courage reminds us that peace and security often come at a very heavy cost.” The Vice President assured of the continued support of the Federal Government, assuring that criminals would have no hiding place under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
