Former state chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have congratulated their colleagues elected into the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party at the recent National Convention.
New Telegraph recalls that four former state chairmen were elected to the NWC.
In a statement titled “A Celebration of Leadership, Continuity, and Party Excellence,” the forum of past chairmen said: “We, the 24 former State Chairmen of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), proudly extend our warmest congratulations to our esteemed National Chairman, as well as our distinguished colleagues—former State Chairmen from Borno, Enugu, Abia, and Ondo States—who have been elected and re-elected at the just concluded National Convention to serve in key leadership positions within our party.
“This moment is not only a celebration of personal achievements but also a powerful affirmation of tested leadership, enduring loyalty, and the confidence reposed in your capacity to steer the affairs of our great party at the highest level.
“Your emergence reflects the collective trust in your experience, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the ideals and vision of the APC.
“As leaders who have served at the state level, we are confident that you will bring your wealth of experience, strategic insight, and unifying spirit to bear in strengthening party structures, deepening internal democracy, and advancing our shared aspirations.
“We are optimistic that under your stewardship, the APC will continue to evolve as one of the most vibrant, progressive, and formidable democratic parties—not only in Nigeria but across Africa.
“We pray that God grants you wisdom, grace, and strength to discharge your responsibilities with excellence, integrity, and lasting impact.
“Once again, we celebrate you and congratulate you on this well-deserved elevation.”
