‘I Watch News To Know What My Enemies Say About Me’

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that he keeps a close watch on media reports to know what his “Enemies” are saying about him.

The Minister, who spoke in Abuja on Wednesday,  said he follows news across leading Nigerian television stations, including Africa Independent Television (AIT), TVC News, and Channels Television.

According to the former Rivers State governor, he prefers to stay directly informed rather than depend on aides or third parties for updates on public discourse surrounding him.

He added that his habit often extends late into the night, as he sometimes revisits broadcasts around midnight to ensure he is fully up to date before going to bed.

“I watch news all the time, AIT News, I will watch, TVC News, Channels, I watch all of them.

“I don’t wait for anyone to come and tell me what my enemies are saying about me; I hear it by myself.

“So you can see that I know the time, even by 12, I still come back to watch everything, I make sure that I watch before I go and sleep.”
