‘Game Of Thrones’ Actor, Michael Patrick Dies At 35


Irish actor  Michael Patrick, known for his appearance in the hit series Game of Thrones, has reportedly passed away.

New Telegraph reports that the actor died at the age of 35 following a prolonged battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by his wife, Naomi Sheehan, who shared the emotional update on Instagram on Wednesday, April 8.

Announcing his passing, Naomi revealed that she and their loved ones are “Broken-hearted” over his passing.

Michael, fondly called “Mick” by his wife, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in February 2023.

The condition gradually damages the nerve cells responsible for vital functions such as breathing, swallowing, chewing, talking and walking.

In a touching tribute, Naomi described her late husband as a remarkable man who lived life to the fullest.

She wrote that Mick was a “titan of a ginger-haired man” and an “inspiration,” adding, “He lived a life as full as any human can live. Joy, abundance of spirit, infectious laughter.”

Fans and colleagues have since taken to social media to mourn the talented actor, remembering him for his energy, humour, and inspiring spirit.
