Abiodun Presents Ceremonial Sword To Tinubu


Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun on Monday paid an appreciation visit to President Bola Tinubu for gracing the commissioning of Gateway airport in the state.

During the visit, Abiodun also declared his support for President Tinubu’s reelection ahead of the Presidential poll.

In a statement shared after the visit, Abiodun expressed appreciation to the President for commissioning key projects, including the Gateway International Airport, Gateway Airlines, and the arrival of the first cargo airline into the state.

The governor described the visit as historic and symbolic of the Federal Government’s commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth in Ogun State.

During the event, Abiodun presented President Tinubu with a ceremonial sword, referencing his traditional title “Jagaban,” which he described as a symbol of leadership and strength.

He urged the President to continue his efforts in tackling crime, corruption, and other national challenges.

Abiodun assured the President of Ogun State’s firm alignment with his leadership.
