The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, yesterday mocked the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed for ‘floating’ without a political party, after his faction lost out in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) legal tussle. Wike, who spoke in Abuja after he inspected some road projects, said that the Bauchi governor has continued to peddle blatant lies against him.
The minister alleged that Bala had accused him of being “planted” in the PDP by President Bola Tinubu to destroy the party, but has turned out to be the one “embarrassing” the party.
He disclosed that the governor, who subtly came for reconciliation, demanded the position of National Secretary for his faction, which he declined. Wike said: “How can a conquered person try to bargain from a position of weakness? “You’re already conquered, you lost. You’re talking with a weak point and you want to demand a Secretary? That is not done.”
