Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday celebrated the 74th birthday of Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu by distributing food packs to residents across various communities in Lagos.
The food distribution, which took place in multiple locations including the Chapel of Christ the Light and the Lagos State Central Mosque, was aimed at celebrating the President while also providing support to families in the face of current economic realities.
Sanwo-Olu described the gesture as a simple but meaningful way to honour Tinubu’s legacy of leadership and service, while extending relief to Lagosians.
“We reached people in communities across the state, including at Chapel of Christ the Light and Lagos State Central Mosque. It was a simple way to celebrate while also supporting families at this time,” the governor said.
