Nigeria Has Never Had Decisive President Like You, Oluwo Extols Tinubu At 74


Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a builder and a man of immense value who has laid a renewed foundational hope for Nigeria and Nigerians.

In his felicitation message made available to New Telegraph in Osogbo, on Sunday, through his Press Secretary, Alli Ibraheem, Oba Akanbi said Tinubu has distinguished himself through a decisive and aggressive campaign against illegalities that have stranded Nigeria’s economic growth for years.

Oba Akanbi stressed the administrative prowess of President Tinubu has galvanized unprecedented achievements to the advantage of Nigeria and Nigerians as reflected in naira stability, Nigeria’s foreign reserves from $1 billion to between $49.5 billion to $50.45 billion by late February/March 2026 that represents a multi-year high driven by structural reforms, including unification of the exchange market, increased oil output, and higher foreign investment inflows.

GDP and other value of measurements have been strengthened.

He further expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for granting local government autonomy, enriching State Governments with increased allocations, widening Nigeria’s road networks and ensuring an improved palliative distributions to the grassroots.

Oluwo disclosed many former presidents have attempted to enforce painful but productive economic decisions but were decapitated by public and political noises. He said only a capable leader will enforce such painful but necessary decisions to liberate the country’s economy from quagmire.

He reiterated Tinubu’s policies have given Nigeria a foundation of hope that has started reflecting in the masses standard of living. He revealed the next phase is stability. And noted many Nigerians will beg Tinubu for more than two terms.

“You are not yet a capable leader until you take decision and stand by it. Many past presidents of Nigeria attempted to remove the clog in the wood of our economic prosperity but were overran by public outcries.

“Tinubu has demonstrated an uncommon leadership by restoring the glory of Nigeria through aggressibe reforms. Nigeria has never had such a decisive President”

“Nigeria Foreign Reserve has increased to over $49.5 billion from $1 billion where Tinubu met it.

“The local government autonomy is taking effect, State Governments earn more, palliative distributions to the grassroots, widening Nigeria’s road networks including Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, Sokoto-Badagry and many more. These are plausible credits strengthening the hope in Nigeria”

“Many Nigerians may beg for constitutional review for Tinubu to spend more than two terms in office. He is a leader who knows what he is doing”

Oluwo prayed for sound health, divine wisdom, understanding and energy to propel the dream of Nigeria’s founding fathers.

“I pray for sound, wisdom and understanding to further manifest his administrative prowess to the advantage of Nigeria and Nigerians”
