A businessman and philanthropist, Prince MO Adeyemi, has donated a mosque to the Epe community in Lagos as part of activities marking his 60th birthday anniversary.
He also unveiled an industrial hub in the same Lekki community to facilitate the area’s growth and economic development. In a statement issued by his media office in Lagos on Friday, the businessman said the gestures are part of his efforts to give back to the community after being blessed by God.
Tagged Alhaja Nofiat Adetoun Adeyemi Central Mosque, the new edifice, which is to serve Muslim faithful in the area, is equipped with Islamic Media/ Production studios for recording, video production, and livestreaming in Epe, Lagos State.
Addressing those present at the event, the celebrant cited President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his late mother’s wishes as the driving inspiration behind the twin developments.
Officiating at the event were prominent Islamic scholars, such as Sheikh Sulaiman Faruq Onikijipa (OON) and Fadeelat- ul Sheikh Abdulahi Arademi, who served as guest speakers during the mosque unveiling in Epe.
Also present at the event, Oloja of Epeland, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, acted as the royal father of the day, underscoring the harmonious blend of Islamic faith, human capital development, and tradition that framed the 60th birthday celebrations.
