Nkire Predicts Victory For Tinubu

A pioneer member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Caucus, Chief Sam Nkire has said the tumultuous and impressive gathering at the 8th National Convention of the party in Abuja has given him confidence that President Bola Tinubu shall prevail again at the Presidential election, come 2027.

Speaking to journalists at the venue, Eagle Square, Chief Nkire said, “It appears this crowd has come to sing nuncdimitis to opposition parties in Nigeria against 2027.”

Drawing from history, the Abia State born politician and former National Chairman of the Progressive People’s Alliance said, “The atmosphere is once again charged with the same feeling of one purpose which the APC had at its first National Convention in 2014.”

Chief Sam Nkire opined that with the opposition parties in utter confusion and disarray, there was no gainsaying the obvious that APC and President Tinubu would be ‘victors ludorum’ once again in the 2027 general and Presidential elections.

The APC stalwart did not deny the prevailing insecurity and economic hardship in the country but had this to add:”even with these obvious troubles in the world, including Nigeria, a majority of Nigerians and APC members still think that President Tinubu is the best suited to clean the mess.”

On what Nigerians should expect if Tinubu wins the next election, Nkire said:”I have never heard Tinubu claim he was born with a silver spoon; I therefore expect him to do better in the areas of insecurity and high cost of living; in other to alleviate the sufferings of his fellow compatriots.”
