Neimeth Posts N982m Profit, Reversing 2024 Loss


Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc has returned to profitability, posting a profit after tax of N982 m for the year ended 31 December 2025, reversing a loss of N885.33 m in 2024.

Revenue rose to N7.37bn, up 64 per cent from N4.49bn in the previous year. Cost of sales increased to N4.02bn, resulting in a gross profit of N3.35bn, a 71 per cent increase from N1.96bn in 2023.

Operating profit reached N2.71bn, compared with N18.89m the previous year. The company recorded a foreign exchange gain of N48.11m, a turnaround from a N2.05bn loss in 2023. Finance costs declined to N1.22bn from N873.32m.

Earnings per share rose to 22.98 kobo from a loss per share of 20.72 kobo in 2023.

On the balance sheet, total assets increased to N14.93bn from N11.99bn, while total liabilities rose to N12.30bn from N10.34bn, leaving net assets of N2.63bn, up from N1.65bn.

The PUNCH reported that Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc has recorded an 11 per cent increase in profit for the half-year ended 30 June 2025 and a profit after tax of N219.6m for the period, up from N198.2m reported in the same period of 2024.
