The appointment was confirmed in a statement signed on Monday by IFTDO Board Chair, Dr Patti Phillips. The organisation described Azeez as a highly respected leader in learning and development, leadership, and strategy development in Nigeria and across Africa.
It stated, “The board is especially grateful to him for sharing his talents with the Accreditation Committee. The project to launch a robust and globally recognised accreditation programme is essential to not only IFTDO but the HRD community at large. Your leadership will undoubtedly steer this next chapter of IFTDO’s mission.”
