The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, has been honoured by the Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies for her exemplary leadership and the transformation of Nigeria’s airport operations since she assumed office two years ago.
The 2025 Excellence Award was presented at the CIAPS End-of-the-Year Public Lecture, Awards Ceremony & Cocktail, held in Lagos over the weekend.
According to a statement from FAAN, the body said the recognition reflects Kuku’s consistent commitment to excellence, strategic contributions to national development, and her dedication to raising standards in the aviation industry.
According to the organisers, the 2025 edition of the Excellence Awards celebrates individuals whose achievements extend beyond their official responsibilities and contribute significantly to broader societal advancement.
CIAPS said Kuku’s emergence followed a rigorous assessment involving performance reviews, sectoral nominations, and independent verification.
