Afrostreet Busking Concert Osogbo Returns Sept 26


The ancient city of Osogbo will once again host the Afrostreet Busking Concert today at GQ Osun Mall.

Hosted by Afrobeats singer and saxophonist J.J. Afroblackish the event will feature artistes such as Ashams, a performer who combines Afrobeats and storytelling; Afowoslide, a Lagos-based saxophonist with a flair for Afrofusion and the Highlifers Band, known for delivering timeless highlife grooves.

Other performers at the concert are AmEE, who projects youthful Afrovibes; percussion master Dmoney, who fuses hip hop with street energy and Ayanbinrin Aduke, who is celebrated for her mastery of the talking drum. There is also Draylord, Moseba, DJ Davrex, Dr Divo, DJ Score, DJ SmallP, the acting comedy act twins, Comedian and Iya Swagger, as well as rising star, Trock.

With its mix of love music, comedy and cultural expression, the Afrostreet Busking show 2025 is expected to attract music lovers, youth and culture enthusiasts across Osun State and beyond.

The night promises a concert and a celebration of Africa’s vibrant street culture.
